The Gang Enforcement Training Center provides onsite and online gang training for law enforcement, corrections, social workers, private security and all those who need to advance their expertise and careers in the areas of gang enforcement, gang prevention, extremism, biker gangs, prison gangs, hate groups, domestic and international terrorism, intelligence and much more at the international, national, state and local levels.
Our students benefit not only from our cadre of subject matter experts, but also from the many professional network activities we organize in order to enhance the training experience. We are well into the digital age, and the old way of learning doesn’t cut it in today’s workforce. Agencies are being introduced to a more modern and mobile-friendly training environment, but are unsure how to translate the digital age into reality based practice. That's where we come in. We take all the guesswork out of who, where, and how to train today's officers for tomorrow. The Gang Enforcement Training Center's approach is to deliver threat-related training that reaches well beyond the focus on "gangs." |

GANG ACADEMYThe National Gang Academy is for all members of the criminal justice; law enforcement, corrections, probation, and prosecution.
The National Gang Academy | Private Security is for those who are not active duty criminal justice but are within the private security industry where being well trained in the identification of a potential gang threat is vital to securing the people and/or assets you are charged to protect. The National Gang Academy | Civilian is for those who are not within the criminal justice profession; i.e., school personnel, prevention & intervention personnel, etc. |

GANG CERTIFICATIONSCertification is part of a process called credentialing. It provides documented evidence you have been trained, examined and certified as a gang specialist.
Gang Specialist Certification for law enforcement officers and correctional officers is vital to today's prosecutorial success. Going into court having been certified increases your position of authority regarding the gang threat and validates your testimony as a subject matter expert. |
